Welcome to Rooted on the Rock Church!

We are a church plant in Cumberland, RI. Our focus is discipleship, serving and families. We engage with our community through the teachings modeled by Jesus and the many lessons found in the Bible. The early church did life together, it was more than just a Sunday drop in. We are striving to be a family of believers doing life together.

There will be elements of a Sunday morning worship service with a focus on discipleship and planning as we look to launch the church. As the church develops, it will change to weekly and the layout will end up changing. Our discussion will focus on what God is revealing to us through our studies in the Bible. How is God moving in each of us and through each of us? We will spend time learning, talking, and partaking in elements of worship together as we use the early church as our model for worship and fellowship. This will be an interactive & engaging time with one another. All ages are welcome! We will have activities and worship for children as well.

Family Unity

We are about the whole family: doing things as a family of believers but also as a family. From children to the adults, we love serving/worshiping/growing with God together.

Serving

We strive to serve those outside the church and those within the church. God has given gifts of service to each one of us. Everyone can find a place to serve.
